About Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Engineering, to join our dynamic and growing team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to oversee and manage end-to-end delivery and resource management and provide leadership guidance and support for engineering members on providing delivery technology, architectural, performance, and security aspects. Your responsibilities are managing the timeline and quality of product delivery and building an Agile culture in engineering teams. Ultimately, you will lead the team to thrive in the development of the product roadmap with continuous improvement/delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of Katalon's quality management platform
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive platform reliability, scalability, and innovation
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase team productivity and efficiency
- Recruit, retain, and manage a high-performing engineering team
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Product, Sales & Marketing,...)
- Ensure the optimization of software development processes and methodologies
- Coordinate and leading the effort of multiple cross functional teams to resolve Production incident and customer escalation
Must-have:
- Well-proven experience in leading multi-regional / distributed Agile development project teams for product companies or similar roles;
- Possesses solid knowledge and skill in software delivery, development process, and engineering management;
- Perform exemplary work in managing projects, practice/service, and mentor others in software engineering;
- Solid knowledge & practices with Agile methodologies;
- Solid knowledge & practices with DevOps culture;
- Expertise in using Jira and Confluence to manage project status and requirement scope as well as project information sharing;
- Knowledge and skillset to define team roadmap product backlog (Themes/Epic) for Engineering teams based on OKR/QPR set by Product;
- Strong ability to manage human resources;
- Good human relations skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams;
- Technical background is advantageous to enable understanding of technical decisions and drive communication with the Product team;
- Excellent English communication – in both writing and speaking;
- Strong leadership, presentation, problem-solving skill;
- Being organizational, analytical, and hustle.
Nice-to-have:
- Certificates of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or any Agile/Scrum certificates; PMP certificate is preferred;
- Experience running projects applying continuous integration and continuous delivery is a plus.
